Spa Night

Sometimes, I'm so stressed that I need to just pamper myself, and tonight was one of those nights. I spent nearly eight hours studying for my statistics exam tomorrow, and was drained. Having my own mini spa night always makes me feel better, though!

Just before I take a shower, I either scrub my face with Julep Pomegranate Body Scrub, or cake on Ahava Dead Sea mud. The scrub is an amazing exfoliant that leaves my skin incredibly soft, while the mud gets rid of any impurities. In the shower, I use this Julep scrub mitt to get rid of excess skin cells. Yeah, I know it sounds disgusting, but it works! I was first introduced to this concept in Morocco, when my friends and I bathed in a local hammam, and we all wanted to buy a mitt to take home! (Unfortunately, we couldn't find any.)

Once I'm out of the shower, I use my Ahava Dead Sea mud lotion to moisturize, and Julep Mint Condition Pedi Creme for soft feet. What spa night is complete without nails, though? Right now, my go-to color is Essie's Vested Interest from the fall line, which I always finish with Seche Vite top coat. Once my nails are dry, I use CND SolarOil to moisturize my cuticles.

I'm so relaxed right now.
