Why I Shouldn't Be Allowed on Skyscanner

For those of you who aren't already familiar with Skyscanner, it's both a blessing and a curse. It gives you every possible flight option for any given trip, and I just love playing around on it and seeing how much things cost. You never know...

My one word of caution is not to book directly through Skyscanner (it'll take you through a bunch of hoops and you might get wired into some fees), but rather use it as a resource to see which flight dates/times are the best, and then search on the airline's website.

I've been comparing prices between Detroit and various destinations that I want to visit. Ugh. Can't I just have an around-the-world ticket?

Cairo, Casablanca, and Amman are sounding super appealing right now--and affordable compared to Europe!

  1. You're from Detroit?! I have family that lives in Royal Oak and I'm borderline obsessed with their neighborhood! (Don't think I could handle your MI winters, though!) I'm officially stalking Flightscanner now!

  2. Omg, I just heard about Skyscanner for the first time today and then I see this! I am about to have some FUN on this site!! I didn't really get how it works, but you explained it well. Thanks for sharing!
