Fed Up Challenge: Day 3

In case you missed it, read my first post about the Fed Up Challenge to learn about the challenge, what it is, and why I'm doing it.

Day three is usually the worst day of a virus, so I figured it'd be the same for this. Guess not! For brunch, I ate Greek yogurt mixed with all-natural peanut butter and freeze-dried raspberries, a string cheese, and some toasted whole-wheat baguette with a tiny bit of butter. Then I headed to Starbucks to work on this blog of mine and just get out of the lonely apartment. It was so nice being at Starbucks to blog for fun rather than study for an exam or write a paper! I researched the Starbucks drinks beforehand to make sure I wouldn't get anything with sugar, and I settled on an unsweetened iced green tea and almonds I brought from home.

My friend Hani and I met up at the juice bar after that, where I had a fresh-squeezed orange juice. I've seen them make the drink before, and they literally just dump oranges in a juicer. I hadn't seen Hani in a while, so it was great to catch up! (P.S. He makes the most gorgeous handmade glitter cards ever! Go like his Facebook page right now!)

Then work, where I snacked on pumpkin seeds. So, again, I had a late dinner. I indulged in whole-wheat pasta with tomato-basil sauce topped with mozzarella, along with two small apricots. Most pasta sauces have added sugar, but I was so excited to find one that didn't at Trader Joe's!

Overall, yesterday was fine. I wanted the cookies at work, yes, but wasn't necessarily craving them. If you have any food ideas for me, let me know!
