As Limoges is only an hour away by train from Châteauroux, it made sense that I had to visit this beautiful town before moving away last April.
Known for its porcelain production, Limoges is the capital of the Limousin region of France and has a population of just under 150,000. The city is not designed for tourists, so I spent the day wandering around. Here's a small taste of this city's charm.
I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit Limoges, but if you do find yourself here, make sure to go to the porcelain museum (admission is free if you're under 26 years old or go on the first Sunday of the month), stroll down Rue de la Boucherie, and take in breathtaking views of the Pont Saint-Étienne.
Have any of you ever visited Limoges? Or perhaps you have a teacup from there? ;)
